Here are five French postcards of those pretty flapper-style ladies with the permed bob and pencil think eyebrows. Three cards are black and white photos. Two are sepia. One of the sepia ones has a dried flower attached to the card. Originally a pansy, I believe, which would go with the message "Je pense a vous." I think of you. In French, the word for pansy and the word for "to think" are the same. The sender punched a small hole with the flower's stem through the card to hold it in place. One of the black and white pics has been color tinted: a blonde with dark ruby red lips! Each card is about 3.5 by 5.5 inches. In the group photo, you'll notice a "shadow" along the left edge of the colored card. This is actually the edge of the plastic sleeve protecting the pansy card. The light colored backgrounds show some stains/aging, but nothing detrimental enough to take away from these ladies' charm.
